Hello all,
I am planning a trip to NYC mid November and the thought has crossed my mind to visit Bethel. I haven't been there ifn aprox 7 years and I am curious to see if anything has changed. Specially with the layoffs and down sizing.
So, do I tell them I'm DA ? Do I use an Alias ? When asked what congregation I'm from..do I make one up ? Can I say, proudly "From JWD" ?
Let me know what your thoughts are. For now, I'm off to fight some wind mills.

WOW, what a thought. I suppose they have an arrangement to escort DA and DF witnesses. They probably herd them in with the worldly folks. If they refused to be the same with you as with JW's, there could be legal trouble. Answer this thread if you know, folks.
Tell them you flew in from the Left Coast, specifically Beth Sarim and you have a message from Isaiah, Exeziel, and Danel, but you can only share it with the entire Bethel family at dinner. They'll love you!

This was my experience at the German branch:
NYC is the greatest city in the world. Why would you waste your time at Bethel? Go to a museum or a play instead. I saw "Spamalot" in August. It was hilarious!
