Once I went to an assembly at Sheffield Wednesdays place - I thought what a dump.
I was probably about 11 or 12 so it was about a million years ago so I doubt if any of you were there at the same time.
It's a small world though isn't it? (no comments about my size please!)
I must admit that at the Apostacurry I was sure that a few of you seemed vaguely familiar but I think that was just wishful thinking.

Hi south african beef,
I definitely wouldn't have been around when you were 12, I was an adult when my ordeal started, should have been old enough to have more sense really. I know what you mean about people looking familiar though. We'll definitely all look familiar next time of course, probably some time in the new year for us. We won't make the beer festival next month, but would be up for the chineses meal in Birmingham that someone mentioned in another thread. Maybe we'll see you there.

All us blokes will be wondering what are you gonna wear to the Apostanoodle, Katie Kitten?!
I think that you should be a bit more daring than what you wore to the curry - you were far too conservative and demure!!!!! -

Heh heh! I was thinking of coming as a nun. I think those wimples are bloody sexy!

Wear something different to every Aposta event - you wouldn't want to make a 'habit' of wearing the same outfit eh?!

I can't remember now who suggested the apostanoodle, it was a while ago, but it's a great idea, and Birmingham would be brill. One of my best mates keeps a pub there, The Wellington on Bennetts Hill, which we could go to afterwards. If someone arranges the meal, I can sort the pub.

I'll be there! Birmingham is much closer for me, and I might even bring the other half, seeing as he went down so well (or was that later )

Fleaman,
You want to go to an apostafest, you really do. Saturday was my first, but I doubt it'll be my last, it was really great to be among people who have walked the same path as I once did. I know a few ex jws around here, I even live with one, but last Saturday was one of the best nights out I've had for ages. It also shows the dubs that us apostates really do enjoy life, despite the borg's teaching that we become sad, lonely, pathetic figures once we leave.
I'll try and find the post about the apostanoodle, do try to make it, I guarantee you won't regret it.
