I would have hit on him for sure if you hadnt been there.

Ooh, and I think he would have been tempted! Hopefully not beyond what he could bear! (what am I talking about, I KNOW he would have been tempted..lol)

If all is fair in love and war I need to meet your partner... although from what I hear he's young enough to keep you busy!

Katie, do you know which district conventions Pubsinger attended in the 1990's? I know you've known him for years, and he was familiar to me, but I can't think where from. I went to Don Valley from 92 - 95, and used to volunteer for attendant duties, usually on the Car Parks cos it was far enough away from the stadium not to hear anything, and he looks a lot like a guy I used to work with on there.

Gadget - fair play my man. You got yourself a really gorgeous girl'f. Why was I going to take a photo of you when she was around??!!

Dedpoet. I knew Pubsinger when I was a teenager. I went to the district assy as Sheffield Wednesday, and the circuit assy at Manchester. (is that the right way round? Circuit inside, district outside?)

I remember Pubsinger being at the Manchester assy hall so im guesssing he must have been at the Sheffield Wednesday ground too. That was up until 1988 when I left home. I think Pubsinger remained in the same area. But the circuit assy changed to Hellaby at some point before I left.

I went to Sheffield for dc's and Hellaby for ca's, so that's probably where I've seen him. I got baptised at Hellaby . I just knew I'd seen him before, years ago, but couldn't think where on Saturday.

I got baptised at the Manchester assy hall with one of Pubsingers sisters! (we went in in twos).

Its a small world isnt it.

By the way, does anyone know if Leroy posts and who he posts as? Ive found out I know him, and id like to track him down for a chat.

I don't know whether he does or not, but I might be able to find out, I'll let you know.

If you left in 1988, I wouldn't have been to a ca when you were there, I didn't get duped until 1991, but Linda would have been around then, she joined in 1981, baptised in '83.

Thank you, thats really kind of you.

    Give my love to Linda.

I think its amazing that if we could replay our memories back like a piece of film we would probably spot each other in the background somewhere in an 'assembly' film memory.

You're probably right there, I imagine Linda might well have been at some assemblies you were at. When you get to meet, you might remember each other. She sends her love, she just came in from visiting her mum in hospital.
