What do you call a woman with no arms and one leg standing on a street corner?

This would be the woman who they give the "experiences" about at a convention. She is a pioneer, works 3 jobs, has 10 kids, is single, blind, and "hops" 5 miles to the KH uphill both ways and NEVER misses a meeting. We should all be so "faithful". (Just bein' silly)

What do you call a man with one amputated leg and half a pelvis? Henry (my husband)

The procedure is called a hemipelvectomy.

Watch the first page, it shows different kinds of amputations and prosthetics.

Did you notice the two little girls? They both have amputations and they are pointing at the guy putting on his leg. It's strange, a child's world view, whenever they see my husband in public (any child) they will say he took his leg off! They are not afraid, they will come up to my husband and pull on his pant leg at that spot. The parent is horrified, but my husband doesn't mind.

What is Henry's physical therapy routine? Does he mostly use a wheel chair or crutches or a combo? Is he able to drive with the aid of adaptive technology ?

MILWN, my husband can drive a car with an automatic transmission. The car must have cruise control. His left leg and pelvis were amputated. He gets around with crutches and a wheelchair. He is unable to use a prothesis. It takes more energy to wear then not to wear. He had the hemipelvectomy due to soft tissue sarcoma in the sciatic nerve due to Agent Orange exposure. The VA pays for most of his durable medical equipment. We have a lift on the truck for his wheelchair.
