Has anyone ever written a thick description of a Witness meeting?

I think I am going to give it a go.

Words alone do not do the meetings justice. They must be experienced.

That's like trying to describe what it's like to BE a witness.

I think the words or phrases boring, guilt fest, brow beating, scary, and waste of time need to be included.

Two solid hours of mind-numbing, hives producing, stomach wrenching, torture. The only relief was getting a knowing look from someone during the prayer and going into hysteria and having to try to stiffle the laughs.

Several family members were good at this especially if someone was giving another hour talk as the prayer.

All we would have to do is catch the other one's eye and one or both of us would be biting the insides of our cheeks to keep from an out loud gafaw!

Happened at the dinner table a lot during prayer too. We use to give a quick tap, or pinch to get the other person's attention and then start making faces.

    r.
