We had a very nice visit. We had agreed not to tell them were we stand but would give them information on a situation we know about personally that is going on at the moment with a brother accused of "inappropriate" behaviour My daughter said I knew loads of gossip and never told her any, so I said Ok what do you think about this

They were pretty shocked and wouldnt believe it. He said he would NEVER be allowed to hold a position of authority like the catholics............WRONG................he was made a servant after the first accusation, where the police were involved..................and is still in good standing after the second accusation.

After we explained the 2 witness rule.......................he said he would never belong to an organization that had a policy like that................I need that info...............quick.

He was very quite on the sunday and i asked my daughter if he was alright, she said yes but dont bring it up again , he hates it when ppl criticize the org..........

We have got to keep this friendly..............they think we are just weak and critical, not apostate............its hard to know how far to go. I would like to Email her with this information about the 2 witness rule and a link to silent lambs but I dont know if i should

Same here. Yesterday I typed stuff in,sent it, and boom error. Gone!

At least an hour's work.

What i did was I took my computer, threw it out the window, jumped on my monitor,

killed the mouse, blamed the mods, got pissed at Simon,,,etcc.

Just kidding. I'll just do it again today, but better.

ooooOOOHHhhhh...Vitty, you need to go very slowly and carefully. Maybe after it sinks in for awhile, your daughter will ask a few more questions. Let her take the lead so as not to freak them out too much.

You did plant a little seed. You know she will be keeping an eye on everyone that is involved..or could be.

This is the information I need................this is what i was talking to my daughter and SIL about................he wouldnt believe me

SIL said that under no circumstances should unqualified elders investigate, but that they should telll you to go to the police.................I said that doesnt happen and that they will have the child sit in the same room as the brother theve accused...........He said he didnt believe the society would EVER say that................................

Ive looked and cant find this letter or WT.........please help
