Try not thinking of something deep, obscure or philosophical.
Think of something that is mentioned in Genesis as a matter of fact, but no mention of it ever being created is given. It just appears as something a part of normal everyday life.

Evil would appear to be an answer that fits. God did not create Evil, and evil things do take place in Genesis and are mentioned throughout the Bible, but still it was not the "something" I of which I was thinking.
I might have been evil in torturing people here with this riddle!
