It seems you do things differently over there. Here we have State religions like the Church of England and the Church of Scotland, etc. Then we have those denominations that separated from the State, such as the Free Church.
Who, on this board, go to church now???

I've been to a couple of different churches over the last couple of years. I don't think I could ever become a member of a church. I go when I feel a need, but that is not all that often.
The first time I walked through the doors I was pretty nervous. Churches have welcoming committes, everyone gets a warm welcome, usually several times as you move through out the building. It was nothing like I expected. I loved the music especially and how everyone was free to let their feelings show. I too, have shed a few tears to a particularly moving song. It is nothing like attending the KH. I don't think people really worship at the KH.

After leaving the JWs I became an Episcopalian and attend services at least once a month.
