It has been close to 10 years since I have stepped into a Kingdom Hall. I haven't been active for over 13 years.

My last meeting was the last meeting of 1974.
Wow!!! I've been out for 32 years!!!
But I was working on the fade for 3 or 4 years before that, all the way from pIONEERING. But I consider the last meeting to be the point where I started marking time.
Somewhere I've got spreadsheet where I count the meetings that I have missed; it's in the thousands. I update it once or twice a year.
Some have commented about my quitting on the eve of 1975; wasn't I paying attention. Actually for those last 2 or 3 years I was skipping meetings. But my connections were so close into the 'power structure' that I couldn't ignore things.
I just figuratively 'rolled the dice' and said that WTS were losers and that 1975 and the Big A were not related. I could 'feel' something wrong in the WTS reasoning.
But in mind and heart well before that.
Truly true; but you have to draw the line somewhere, so I stick with 'latest' December, 1974.
