MIRACLE IS SUNK
A PRIEST has died after trying to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water.

Evangelist preacher Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle.

But he drowned after walking out to sea from a beach in the capital Libreville in Gabon, west Africa.

One eyewitness said: "He told churchgoers he'd had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus.

"He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat.

"He walked into the water, which soon passed over his head and he never came back."

Here's one I heard at a C.A. in Manchester:

A Christian couple decided they wanted to get married -- in the air! They belonged to a free-fall club and managed to find a vicar who was experienced in free-fall and would do the service in the air. Well, everyone jumped out and they all met up in mid-air, whereupon the vicar performed the service. Immediately, everyone separated and opened their parachutes - all except the vicar! His shute failed to open and he plunged to his death.

The moral was that we shouldn't take our lives for granted. The JWs loved it.

I have no idea if this story is true - but it was supposed to be.

How could you not notice that the water was now over your head and not under your feet? Unless he had too much pride to turn back after all his boasting. Sheesh.

Perhaps the congregation misheard him and he said he could walk in water, which is what he did, but stayed in a bit too long.

Dansk, don't you just love the way the dubs manage to take a tragedy and twist it to their hatred filled teachings?

I got so sick to death of the bitterness and lack of any humanity in their teachings, it is infuriating that they get their jollies out of other people's suffering. I lost count of the number of rediculous stories you would hear at meetings or conventions where African villages would be attacked and the one guy who had not bothered going to the meeting that sunday got killed because of his lack of faith, I suspect they were all BS used to berate the flock.

Are they still completely unprepared to do humanitarian or charity work?
