On Saturday, September 9th, 2006 I will be running my first 5K (3 miles) race in the Freedom Run (www.freedomrun.com).
We start running at 8:30 AM. There will also be a 1 mile walk for anyone who wants to support the cause but is not up to running three miles.
If anyone wants to come, just let me know!

I'd like to run my first 5k race this year. Lori and I are running up to an hour or so together, and on her own she's run close to two hours at times this summer.
Would like to get my time to where I won't embarrass myself too badly.
