I left the witness 5 years ago literally cut them out of my life. I'm disfellowshipped so the severing was complete. I've found there is no middle road with the JW family who are still in. I've just cut them out too they are simply not able to have a relationship with anyone outside their religion unless they can bring them into the fold.
It is a painful less to be sure. My sweety gets tired of hearing about the old JW stuff too, so this is my outlet on here. LOL
