How can you possibly be that stupid? Jeffro stated clearly that, from Ezra alone, it is possible to conclude that the temple foundations were laid in 537 B.C. Ezra also states that this was the year after the Jews returned, thus making the year they returned 538 B.C. I really think you're mentally defective.

'scholar' likes to delete the context of what he's replying to, but to clarify things, 'scholar' is agreeing that:
a) the Jews returned in the 7th month of Cyrus' first year, and
b) the temple foundations were layed in the following year, and
c) the temple foundations were layed in 537
He then draws the impossible conclusion that the return of the Jews "could only be 537". 'scholar' here demonstrates that he is completely incapable of even the simplest of logic.
But the truly sad part is that 'scholar' is both unwilling and unable to provide any support at all for his assertion.
