Now THAT sounds like an idea!

I can't do the last weekend in September (I think - need to double -check) as I have to attend a weekend convention (not JW related - LOL), but other than that I'm good, especially if it works out as an adjacent weekend.

Now that is one Apostafest I would love to attend. A bunch of Irish ex-dubs!

Sweet mother of mercy, I can taste the Irish whiskey from here!

If this pushes through, someone promise to have a shot or 2 for me.

I might have to miss this one. Claires operation is due around then, but I should find out on MOnday when its going to be, but hopefully I'll still be able to make it.

It's looking like the weekend of the 16th, 23rd or possibly the 30th. My preference is the 23rd but I'll go with what works for the majority.

See http://www.dublintourist.com/ for places to stay and prices and so on.

Most national European airlines (BA, KLM, Air France etc.) also fly direct to Dublin, and there are so many flights from all London airports that if you can get as far as London, you should have no problem getting to Dublin.

Stena Line http://www.stenaline.com/ operate ferries (car and foot passengers) from Holyhead to Dublin Port and to Dun Laoghaire (just outside Dublin), from Fishguard to Rosslare (2 hours from Dublin) and from Stranraer to Belfast (2 hours from Dublin). There are also ferry services from France but unless you want to spend 20 hours on a ship, don't bother!

So, no excuses. As soon as we've agreed on a date I expect everyone to find the cheapest way of getting here and book it!

I would so love for this to be my first apostofest!!! but, alas, my dentist may be getting what I could have set aside for plane fare...

I'll be there FunkyD, if only to taste the best pint of Guiness in Dublin......at John Mulligans.

Globetrotters Hostel is cheap enough for digs, with a superb all-you-can-eat breakfast.

Give us a date soon and i'll book the Sea Cat from Liverpol. That way i can get half leathered on the way over.

    Peace

    Lowden
