The best place to go are places like Walmart or a nationwide eyeglasses place like: America's Best Eyeglasses and Contacts (I'm sure you've seen the commercials depending on where you live)
I got my glasses there for $35 and have had them 2 years now. Buying more than one pair seems so unecessary. What makes the eyeglass industry thing that its consumers are gonna "lose a pair?"
And watch out for thin frames. They break easy. I had that problem.
And again, the kids could of got their glasses at a place like Walmart for a much better deal. And did you know that you can get your prescription, frames and lens seperately to save money? I did that. One store offered a better deal on the frames. So I bought them there and got the lens somewhere else.
