    I'm a little tired of the Caveman commercials too, but they're definitely among the all-time greats. The advertising biz attracts some very creative and funny people. I mean, who thinks this stuff up?

    I can't find it anywhere on the web, but the Mentos Sour Mix commercial where the bird eats a piece of the candy off of a branch kills me every time, it's my current favorite. And I've only seen it one time, but the Sonic "Secret Admirer" commercial (one of the series featuring the husband and wife) made me laugh so loud my neighbors a block away probably heard me.

    ok, I donated the five euros (however much that is!) and signed up. That mentos bird commercial is a good one, but the one I'm talking about is more recent, and I couldn't find it on the site. I'm sure somebody will post it soon. I couldn't find the 1970's "Ancient Chinese Secret" Calgon commercial either, bummer.

    As you can see it's very representative of the past 15-20 years, but the Calgon commercial was from the '70s where their coverage is much more spotty. The Calgon commercial was from 1972, here is the audio: http://dt2.prohosting.com/70s/adulttv/calgon.au

    As for the Mentos one, there is a more recent shorter spot, but sounds like you are talking about a different one on the same theme?

    The mentos commercial that I'm referring to has only been airing for about a month or so. It features a bird (I think it's a pheasant) sitting on a branch. It eats a piece of candy, then its eyes get really big and its tail straightens and curls several times, and each time the tail curls you hear this kazoo sound.

    I just spent my last half hour watching geico commercials thru these links.

    I did, btw, check into their rates awhile back. I have better insurance rates than what they offered. But I think they are pretty competitive.

    We love that commercial around here too! My favorites also are the AFLAC ones...love the duck.
