Very clever marketing on Geico's part!
Sometimes, sometimes, the commercials are better than the programing....
Have you noticed that some commercials you can't figure out what the heck it was about? Maybe it's just me? LOL

Love the AFLAC duck too. Can't say that I have seen the pheasant, though I have eaten them and they taste really great... as do deer, wild turkey,... I digress...
I like the sunglasses on the one caveman's head. That's a nice touch. Do you think the roast duck remark was a dig at the AFLACK commercials?
The other Geico commercial I loved was about the auditions for the Geico spokesperson and the gekko aced out the Taco Bell dog. My dog Coco (see avatar, left) loved that commercial and the one with the high-fiving squirrels who run out in the road to see if they can cause an accident.

I like the Geico commercials but the caveman ones are wearing thin. I have never liked the "set-up" of the guy telling the joke "it's so easy a cave-man could do it" - I mean that is just a lame joke and would never be real copy for a commercial and secondly his fake laugh at his own joke is irritating as hell.
the bits with the cavemen and their reactions are great however.
Overall I prefer the gecco Geico commercials.
I linked two Geico commercials because I felt they were appropriate to this previous thread. Re: Watchtower "Worship"
This is one of my favorites right now, even though they ripped off Office Space:
What's funnier is the "Is Gay Marriage Wrong?" banner below your post.

That is, by far, my favorite Geico commercial. I knew exactly what you meant by the thread title
With Scully on this one, I rolled when I first saw it! "Yeah, well, maybe you should do some research next time" -- priceless!
And the "secret admirer" Sonic commercial was incredible, too.

Next time, do a little research!

You got an F!
The dude is Peter Stormare, who actually is Swedish, and is a top-shelf actor with many credits to his name, I remember him from Fargo in particular
