When you left the JWs did you keep their publications?

I threw everything away except the bible (which I now know is crap), the songbook and Reasoning from the Scriptures ( to use against them... primarily the conversation stopper part). So many posters seem be able to access JW info easily and quote it... I wonder if I should have kept everything. At the time, it was a way to start over and commit to never going back.

I think a lot of people have the CD Rom which has the texts available to them. It is a much easier to search that way then the old fashion - go to the books and read thru everything way. You gotta love technology!

I kept the bible, reasoning book, greek interlinear translation book, and the CD ROM. The rest I threw in the trash including the MOUNTAINS of past years magazines from the shed. You know the ones you never hand out and have stored all over the house because you think it is a sin to thrown them away?

Yup. It's the only way I could convince others to leave. The Society's own words do them in.

Yes, until I decided to donate it...but I still see it when I go to my relatives.

My family doesn't have knick knacks, they have stacks of Watchtowers!

I kept everything. 80 year old books, bound volumes, loose magazines, etc. It's the best arsenal to possess when exposing the evil Watchtower Bible and Tract Society™.

I also have the WT Library on cd-rom for fast searches of their wacked-out doctrines.

Nope. Straight to the local recycling center! I just hope that some poor soul didn't take them home, since raiding the magazine and book recycling boxes was quite common in the are we lived in- for instance, it is where my ex husband used to get all his porn.

I do a lot of research and posting here and on other sites. So I kept mine. But I have ditched my dups and written in publications.

Kept the bibles we used at our wedding, only. The rest became land fill.

Yep I threw mine all in the garbage, then I called my jW mom and told her I had tossed them. Afterwards I thought that she might sneak over and get them out of my garbage so I went to my neighbor and asked him If I could toss them in his can. He laughed and said "HELL YEAH" go for it.
