I was in the TMS from quite an early age...so young everyone said 'awwww' when I gave my first bible reading...I think I was about 8 years old...
Becoming a publisher was different though...then they were more stringent and even to the point of baptism they were stringent even more...it was as though by moving the goal posts they were trying to create a sense of urgency and ambition in those steps up the JW ladder.
I think back to how non sensical it all was and how I couldve ever thought I would thrive in such an oppressive environment.
