Normally, a DA'd person can attend. But if the elders feel that the person will be causing a "scene" or attempting to talk to people, they may forbid them entrance. The elders could even call the police and the person might be escorted out. The elders make the rules.

BTW, I have never seen that happen in 50 years of attending. I have heard stories but never was able to substantiate them.

yes you can, the elders came to my door and left an invitation with my brother ( whose been DA'd longer than I have)

I know 3 difellowshipped persons (went together) who were told in no uncertain terms to leave and that they were not welcomed because their presence led to people asking questions.

Peacefulpete, that confirms what I said above. If the elders feel the person(s) will be a disruption, they can and will refuse entry.

I would suggest going to a congregation then where they do not know them by face and/or name.

Hmmm...imagining what it would be like if I just strolled in on memorial night...

I DA'd, but everyone there know that I am really a sweet person. Wonder what they'd do if I just went and sit in the first row, and just said hello to everyone as if nothing was wrong.lol
