Happy? Definitely. Functional? More so every day. But normal? Probably not; I keep surprising people without even trying.

But, you know, there's no reason you can't reframe the question. When Benjamin Franklin saw one of the Montgolfier brothers' early balloon flights, he exclaimed over how wonderful it was.
A bystander asked, "But what use is it?"
Franklin retorted: "Of what use is a newborn child?"
The same question could be asked about chocolate, champagne, caviar, black satin sheets, ... you get the idea.

If you've ever been thru Boot Camp, it is a startling experience. A lot of new stuff, all at once, jammed together with stress. The object is to strip you of your individuality and make you be part of the unit. Then, when you're done, you have to start thinking as an individual again. It was interesting to hear the solitude in (I want to say) most of those answers. I wonder what per centage of the souls on this site are Indigo people? Am I normal? Y'know, I don't really care, I mean, as compared to what or whom? I only care that I am true to myself. Damn, that's hard.

I can be an oddball at times.. daytimes, nighttimes, etc.
Seriously, this question reminds me of a few of the questions from the Scientology "personality test" they give out at the street level.
1) Do you ever feel alone in a crowd?
2) Do you ever feel that you are different/superior to your peers?
These are questions that almost anyone will answer yes to.
