While I find it hard to believe his story about stealing money from the donation boxes, it would be super easy to do. Just offer to help out the account's servant - he's always looking for an extra person to sign the reciept, and while he's checking the other boxes slip a 20 in your pocket. Heh heh. A regular Judas in the making....

'Get What You Give' was a great song and when I learned what it was really about (don't give up after this cult has rejected you; you have so much more to see...) it was a small factor in my eventual exit. I used to like playing it at JW parties and then telling everybody that it's by a guy who was raised a witness and the effects of leaving.
