Hmmmmm...does this park allow loud music? I think I can book Tree of Woe for that date but some parks are kind of picky about music and stuff...especially if it's a campground. Of course they could do an acoustic set but I sure would love you to hear them full out rock and roll.

We can also contribute to the shelter fee and bring firewood and many assorted beverages. I can make my 4 bean casserole in my huge roaster and this time they'll taste better because the electricity won't go off before they're fully cooked. (Knock on wood...which is my head)!

We can also bring extra chairs. We have lots from last year. Okay...ENUF said.

Cathy.... Just checked with the campground. Music IS allowed! Whoo Hoo! If Tree of Woe could play, that would be awesome! We all loved them last year! Thanks so much for checking on that.

Yum...your bean dish would be very much appreciated as well. I'll put ya down on the list for that. THANKS!

Okay, we don't necessarily need any chairs...unless you were planning on camping that night and would need them for your camp site. The shelter building is enclosed ( so no fear if the weather is bad that day) ... it has electriciy, picnic tables inside and outside, bathrooms, 2 refriderators, a stove and even a fire place! There are volley ball courts, horse shoe, and a nice play ground area too.

If anyone is nervous about finding their way to the park, we can set up a time and place in Marshfield for some to meet, and then they can follow us to the park. If you are trying to "map quest" the directions for it, the park is located on Park Rd, in Arpin WI, 54410.

Okay Schne's...got ya on all points. Why does this remind me somewhat of a JW picnic? Oh no...not at all...a person can actually have FUN at an apostafest!

Imagine getting lost in Marshfield! Bummer. Maybe we'll have to purchase one of those fancy "they tell you how to get there" thingees for our car. HA!

Well, considering I've had a few PM's regarding hotels in Marshfield I thought I would just post them here for anyone wishing to make reservations. They are all eary to find and located on the "main drag" here in town, just ask if you have any further questions.

    Super 8 715-387-2233

    Holiday Inn 715-486-1500

    Best Western Clearweater 715-387-1761

    Amerihost Inn and Suites 715-384-5240

Of course for those who wish to camp that night and make reservations, you'd need to call The Wood County Park Department at 715-421-8422. Reservations require a 2 night minimum stay. I was told that the camp ground holds 10% of their sites for "first come, first serve" so you could always go that route instead.....then one night stays are allowed.

Can I ask who is all staying at the campground and where your sites are... Digital and I are sharing a campground and I want to book close to you all so we can continue our festivities at the campfire throughout the night :)

    CollegeGirl...

Well, I think Mr. Schne and I are going to wing it and do the "first come, first serve" thing the night of the party.

Sorry I can't help you regarding what our camp site will be. I usually try to get one near the bathroom.....but even if we are all spread out, we can still have fun sitting around someones campsite and continuing the party there
