Well--- this isn't good! Just called the county parks department and June 10th is not open for renting the shelter building.

So we have an option of the following dates: Which would work out best for you. I'll have to figure something out soon, since it looks like the place is booking up quickly!

May 27 (Memorial Day weekend)

July 1st

August 19

August 26

September 2 (Labor Day weekend)

September 30

How about July 1? (I say this because July 2 is my birthday. LOL!) What better way to celebrate, right?

Ohhh and just to play it safe, you should probalby make campsite reservations ahead of time if you are planning on roughing it that night. Otherwise there are some hotels in Marshfield as another option.

So, give me an idea of who would all plan on camping and how many tents you would bring ....I can reserve some sites so we have them for sure. Then depending upon who all camps, we can split the total cost amongst us. That would work better than each person renting a site and paying the full fee.... sound good??

If I look at all the dates available, I'd go for August. because July 1st, its too close to July 4th, so probably lots of traffic.

But I'll go whenever it's going to be.
