What can I make?

I can bring some food from Canada, and leave it in my car for days in the heat, and I'll let you guys eat it.

Good idea Butt, what thread count shall my sheets be? I never sleep on anything less than 250, and that's slumming it...lol.

I am going to rough it, but I refuse to sleep on the ground completely. I will most likely purchase the air mattress. Where do you get those? Yes, I will get a sleeping bag...those things are so cute, never had one before.

You can find some nice air matresses at Target. I found one that "automatically" inflates!

Or you could go for a cot instead...that would get you off the ground more, away from any bugs!

I may suggest a tent fan as well....it can get pretty hot sleeping inside a tent!! Those you can find at Wal-mart/Target etc.

Yeah, I may go to Target soon and pick up a few things. They got really cute camping stuff. You know me got to look good when you are roughing it.

With the tent fan....I don't mind the heat. It could be over a 100 and I am fine.

Oh yeah, I am going to bring extra drinks.......Not intended to embark on a drunk fest, just thought of bringing more of a variety to choose from.

Good Girl or Bad Girl?

I want to go but

1) My cousin's wedding shower is that day and my JW family will be very suspicious if I miss it.

2) I'm still nervous about coming out of hiding.

But I want to meet everybody!!! I'm so torn...

I am going to think about it for a while longer, Schne...if I do come I'll either stay in a hotel or drive back home - I'm only about 3 hours away. I've never been camping!!!

Well I understand about you being a bit cautious. I was too last year before going to my FIRST apostafest at Had Enufs house. I had no idea what would go on, if it was all a trick, and elders would show up etc..... but we had a blast.

Take your time...don't rush things if you don't feel ready. There will be another one, no doubt.

Maybe just a few of us can meet up another time that would work better for you.... just a smaller group!?

Let us know what you decide. We'd love to have you join us, but if you decide to go to the shower, enjoy yourself!
