Do Jewish people have an opinion of jw's?

A Jewish friend I once worked with commented that a person choosing to be a JW had chosen a difficult way of life.

It is the same opinion they have of all Gentiles.

Yes, they do! I once worked at the Associated Jewish Charities in Maryland and the Jews I worked with considered JW's not only annoying, but truly offensive. Especially during their holy days when JW's ring the Jews' doorbells and attempt to convert them. One of the Jewish women I worked with has a sister-in-law who is a JW. She said that her sister-in-law became insane because she could not make her children believe in the JW theology.

    Sounds right to me.

I figured that for the most part they'd be politely dismissive, but there would be some common ground in that JW's think they're worshipping the god of the jews, but he's not the Jew's god any more. Simultaneously embracing and dismissing a far richer history than that of a guy in Pennsylvania who got lucky with a new cult a few decades ago.
