The fools think it's calling themselves a prophet that makes them a prophet, not realizing it's the act of making predictions in God's name that makes them a prophet. Same with claiming to be inspired, they think denying they claimed to be inspired relieves them of responsibility even though they claim to speak God's words that they say God put on their lips.
It's just like their faithful and discreet slave application of the parable. They fail to realize the designation of faithful and discreet is ONLY given to the slave AFTER the test is complete. There is NO allowance for a slave to be evil, fail the test, be replaced by another applicant in waiting who passes the test, and earns the faithful designation. The Witness doctrine of the replacement faithful slaves is made up by them, not found in their sacred scriptures.
The faithful slave test is not their "right to govern" a religious business corporation, it's their personal test to earn their reward after their death. There is no Biblical religious "right to govern" like the Society does. There is a secular right to govern.
The Watch Tower is just a big business with a religious spin used to get members to comply.

Actually, it isn't very hard for anyone to come off victorious when going against something or someone(s) that are in the wrong and can it be proved by documentation....especially when the documentation that is used comes from the very source your going against and the Watchtower meets that criteria 100%. Their own words condemn them even as Jesus said would be the case with those in the wrong.

They claim: to be God's prophet, divinely directed, to speak for God, that God put His words on their lips, but they deny being inspired.
It's a convenient way to deny responsibility for that which has been proven by time and history to be error.It would be interesting to devote some time in parsing the Watchtower claims for HOW EXACTLY Jehovah communicates through
the FDS and how it differs/is the same as the ancient bible prophets.
I'm thinking about that right now....

Good comments.. I think it doesn't really matter what they claim because if they want complete obedience to every doctrine and every elders whim, which they do, then they are claiming perfect even without saying it. Part of the game is not to actually say it, but to imply it.
