If YK had two eyes, he'd have a better PERSPECTIVE on things.

But he has only one, and sadly that one is myopic.

    Yes,

Exactly what would be the biblical prophetical antitype of remaining loyal to an organization who is found guilty of something as heinous as knowingly protecting and thereby promoting the possibility of pedophilia?

Could it be that the org is off by almost 100 years on the prophecy about the death of the two witnesses. Maybe the events we are about to witness is the real fulfillment instead of what happened in 1914-1918?

Ah, but then you would have to believe that Bible prophecy, specifically the book of Revelation really does point to the WTBS, FDS, GB etc. including all those locusts, and plagues that were booklets, leaflets and assembly parts.

Sorry, just don't buy it anymore.

when it appears that we are not who we have claimed to be,

Indeed you have heard the Master correctly concerning you and all those with you.

You "buttered" it up so that you can continue to believe you are 'anointed,' but the situation which you saw a "glimpse" of is actually FAR worse than what you pictured.

I wish you all would "pay heed" but you don't want to, so I leave you, to your error, misleading and being MISLED.

    Peace!

    You Know,

Seems to me that you build your case primarily on the people of Jesus' day not recognizing Jesus and following Him. I see the Jehovah's Witnesses doing the very same thing today. JWs do not recognize Who Jesus really is. Just as the people in His day did not accept Him for Who He is. Seems to me you built your case against the very ones you sought to defend.

    Homer,

The reason You Know has only one eye, is because he took literally
the adage: "If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out!"
    ...
and since, YK KNOWS he's sinning by keeping company with apostates on this internet discussion board,
he figgered he could just yank one eyeball out
    and everything would be cool.

    YK-

well, im convinced. thanks for the insight. so, since this child abuse case merely "certainly appears to have the potential to inflict a heavy blow upon us", but isnt apparently worthy in your eyes of concern, is there new light on the horizon after this? will child abuse be acceptable soon? will jehovahs witnesses start protecting known murderers and rapists next? just wondering. i know youve got the inside track on forthcoming new light, so please let me know.

You're a 25-year man, at the peak of his faith. You devour all the articles in the WT and keep in constant contact with "The Slave". You do research and know the Scriptures inside out, you can find a line in the Bible to answer almost anything, albeit to the satisafaction of yourself if not others. You have a "personal relationship" with Jehovah and see yourself as a warrior in his army, you hate his enemies with a vengeance.

What is the point of me trying to explain where you are in error? "A man conviced against his will remains an unbeliever still".

I saw my Dad go down the same road as you, bless him, at one point he became so patriarchal he started to sound as if he was an OT prophet.

I'm sorry to see you in the grip of the same delusions, but time will indeed tell.

    Englishman,

Remember though, that in the land of the blind a one-eyed man is king ( Robert King that is..).

    You Know,

For calamities encircled me until there was no numbering of them.
    More errors of mine overtook me than I was able to see;
They became more numerous than the hairs of my head,
And my own heart has left me.

A few verse up in the Psalm is the verse that the apostles attributed to Christ were the roll of the book foretold he would offer himself; yet, in the ongoing conversation that the messiah is having with his God, he says that he has been overtaken by his numerous errors.

As in the case of Christ, only Jehovah can save his anointed sons from the calamity that is due to overtake them.

What is your basis for applying these words to Jesus? When did Jesus' errors overtake him and what errors were these? The bible speaks of him as being error-free. (1 Peter 2:22)

Then you glibbly transfer these words to your so-called anointed brothers. If Romans 6:18 applies to anointed ones, then this verse cannot apply to them. It reads: "Yes, since you were set free from sin, you became slaves to righteousness." If they were set free from sin, how can they commit so many errors that these overtake? They certainly could not be considered to be getting any help from holy spirit if this is true.

If you give careful consideration to these verses, you may see that they apply to persons who are not anointed.

You need to also take another look at verse 6 which reads, in part: "...These ears of mine you opened up..." This is not what Paul quoted. He said at Hebrews 10:6: "You prepared a body for me." Now there is quite a difference between 'opening my ears' and 'preparing a body for me.' And yes I know that Paul quoted from the Septuagint, but my question is why the difference in wording. See also Isaiah 50:5.

I don't agree that the 'case is closed.'
