Being a Brit I used to go on holiday in Spain when I was a kid and loved getting hold of American magazines. My favourite was about a GI who I think was called Sad Sack.

This fella was more my scene when I was a kid; there was this lad in our hall who used to collect all the Beano comics and eventually they were mine...wished Idve kept em, probably make a fortune on ebay!

There were other ways to be funny ooops double posts. I agree totally with you on this. This is where wit and charm comes from. Now everything is sexual which really takes the fun out of life. When you look at the nakedness and vulgarness of porn and so forth eg people on the beach wearing next to nothing it leaves less to the imagination. No one's a mystery....There's no excitement there.
