Some of us once watched a network broadcast of a movie titled "The Bible", in which several stories from Genesis were depicted. As we watched, some in the group would occassionaly comment, "Well, they almost got it right", or something similar, to show how knowledgable they were. The account of Sodom and Gomorrah ended with Lot walking toward the camera, while a large mushroom cloud rose up behind him on the horizon, on the site of the two cities. What a loving god Lot worshipped!
