  Sue really does love Bob, despite the lawyers who have inserted themselves as her proclaimed representatives. She continues to try to get Bob's attention thru moments when the lawyers aren't as close to him (and they seem to be always within sight of Bob). She leaves little notes, she tries to signal with her eyes whenever Bob happens to actually have a better look at her, she asks friends to give both subtle and not-so-subtle suggestions to Bob that the lawyers are corrupt and not representing her at all.

  Sue finally confronts Bob, and Bob is having trouble being sure that Sue is really Sue after all, because she is not like the Sue the lawyers have been explaining. Also, he thinks that maybe the lawyers know more about love than he does, for they are learned men, after all! They are confident, and adamant about how to approach Sue, and Bob is well, nobody special!

  Yes, the real question is whether he really loves Sue or not and is willing to persevere toward her, because part of him has become so comfortable with just following lawyers' directions that doesn't want to risk being mistaken. Love never fails, and as Bob gets pushed to the point of frustration he finds his choices get narrowed to resolve to figure out the riddle wherever it goes, or just to resign himself to living with lawyers forever with Sue ever in the distant background.

  You didnt though Narkissos, did you. YOu were an elder at one time right? So all hope is not lost. We are quickly losing hope for our loved ones still hanging onto the lawyers every word. This too is very sad. Tor

  "He decides to cry in his beer at the local watering hole. While there he meets another sad sack who relates an eerily similar story to his own."
  
  The sad sack became friends with Bob because of their common experiences. However the sad sack came to the realisation that while Sue seemed very desirable she just wasn't interested in him. He drank himself to death at that watering hole and nobody missed him.

  After a while, Bob joins the lawyers team... (sad ending, isn't it?)(no, it's not the end) Bob decided if he couldn't beat them he might as well join them. This suprised everybody greatly! He followed every rule and regulation. Though he didn't understand how jumping up in down in the nude (an air bath (anyone remember who did that?) could ward off a cold, he complied nightly. He was so determined to follow all the rules he even got rid of his brand new wire rimmed glasses and traded them in for your basic black plastic. He made sure his hair never touched his ears or collar. He followed everything to a T. Little did anyone know that Bob was simply biding his time. He was a crafty fellow determined to get to the bottom of everything! He had succeeded in infliltrating the high and mighty lawyer team. He was building trust within the ranks. He would use this new position the the best advantage possible. He would get his beloved Sue back no matter what!!...................
