I don't think anyone here is saying drinking and driving is acceptable. But since when has a good joke ever been "politically correct"?

If I read something and it cracks me up, at least I should give someone credit for that.

Drinking and driving lost me several good friends. I watch it like a hawk, 4 pints of beer = 8 hours minimum before driving, which is why I only drink beer in the evenings.

Drinking and driving is very serious matter. A while back I drank almost a full beer and drove to my MIL house. Because I still had the open container with me in the car, and ended up going through a road block Yes not a very good night for me. The officer made me do a breathalizer test. The limit for a DUI in NC is 0.08, I blew a 0.04. I was half way to my legal limit, and still had 1/4 of my beer left! I should also say, that I have hardly ever done that before, I thought nothing of it, because she lived right up the road. Of course after paying $130 I will never forget it.

The thing that gets me, is that I was halfway to being legally intoxicated, and didn't feel a thing. I guess, I am just a lightweight. But it would be interesting to see what seasoned drinkers blow when they think they are ok to drive home

BTW Slip...LOL I heard that before too, I thought it was cute

In a controversy the instant we feel anger, we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.

The moral of this is. . .

Always post your jokes on the ". . .never ending jokes" thread.
    It's much less hassle.

    Interesting discussion though

even if it rattled a few nerves.. we are talking a joke..

I don't care how much anyone drinks, no one encourages anyone to drink and drive.. I hope people get that

Absolutely, Sassy..................Dudes/Dudettes..............it's okay to party and get high at home, but, as I often tell my BF, who, because he didn't listen to me, is now facing a year of LOCKUP because of his DWI, have fun, get loose, but, do it at HOME, surrounded by your loved ones........share your insights and feelings with those who are most intimate with you, you can have anything you want, at home...............so why go out, trying to find something else?
