WELCOME! I hope you can find some sanctuary here and get some of your troubles sorted out.

It is not at all wrong to want normalacy and joy. That's why I stopped attending meetings and faded when I was 28 after a lifetime of JWism. It's not easy. You have to learn who you are. But its amazing. It's an incredible journey. And I wish you all the VERY best on yours.

Hi hon, and welcome! Look at all these people who feel exactly the same way; it was very encouraging for me to find it. I am able to talk here about anything that bothers me about the organisation, and it's been such a relief. It's taken care of many years of suppressed, um, something. I'm not even passionate enough about it to call it anger any more. I just know that a large part of my life was lived under false doctrine, and from now on I'm going to look only for joy. I will eliminate the depressing influences in my life, and the biggest one is being a witness.

    The very best to you!

No it's not wrong! Jesus does not want you to be stressed out! He Loves you! and Jehovah does too! As for your family ties, the only thing you can do is pray that they see the light as you have! Prayer works!

I was stuck in my JW ways until my wife prayed and prayed that I would see the truth! You are to live a happy wonderful life in the LORD! Be glad that you have been "pulled" from the lies and the falsehood of a organization that doesn't even remember it's founding! I pray that you will stay away and know that God loves you the way you are! Biddie
