Well, it doesn't indicate that they are "as likely", but it does show that they are not impervious.

Unfortunately, many Latino men would do that, with or without religion involved.
Why is this?Because "traditional" or uneducated Latinos have a very high and unrealistic standard of manhood. So they expect and demand full sumbission from their wife. Even if separated, if the wife has a relationship with another man, the stranged husband takes it as the ultimate insult and sometimes conclude that violence is their only way to restore their dignity or manhood. The thought of "their woman" in bed with another man is heart breaking but for them is simply unbearable. Alcohol makes uneducated Latinos very dangerous to a non-submissive wife or even ex-wife

I can tell you right now, that I've witnessed men act like this and they were NOT Latino. Kinda harsh to sweep a broad brush with Latinos, dontcha think? Andi

The Jehovah's Witness church has a well-documented tradition of formally shunning those who have left the church or committed certain other infractions. It is not clear if that tradition played a role in Lombardo's alleged actions.

Actually, several of my cousins are from Latin America (some have spent much more than 20 years in LA) and don't fit your profile even though they wouldn't be called "educated" by US standards...however my educated white American older brother who's spent no time in central or south america fits the profile dead on.
