It stresses how important it is that we are present and one article is getting into details about the Passover and that it meant liberation, so also the Memorial for us. It is said that the Nisan 14th was always a date of liberation. They are going gaga over this.

Weird thing is I remember in the 80's there was a "red moon" and everyone in the cong. was soooooooo excited! Could this be it? Is this a sign? Hubba-hubba!?!?!

We had a red moon during a congregation meeting and all of us 20 somethings went out to watch it because we hadn't seen one before and thought it would be cool. We didn't think anything prophetic of it. Most JWs will just go, "Meh". How many times can you say the end is imminent over a 130 year period and still expect people to get excited over it? Maybe the new converts will, but that's it.

Wiki answers suggest a red blood moon occurs about once a year and another site states

" A blood moon will actually turn red when it matches up with a lunar eclipse. These occur about twice a year, so blood moons match up with lunar eclipses about every 6 years or so. At the time of this writing, the next blood moon lunar eclipse will be in 2015."

If their is one due for April 15,2014 then it is a day late for the JWs as the memorial is scheduled for April 14th, 2014 according to the Kingdom Ministry 2012 12/12 page 2

"The Memorial for 2014 will be on Monday, April 14."

Blood red moons are a natural phenonomen that have occured since time began ...it always happens.

If it happens to coincidentally fall on some jewish date , its a sign from God .....sigh

This is what happens when you demonise education.Lurkers and young ones get a better education before you waste your life on the impossible dream

And after passover,Nisan 14 , 2014 when nothing of the sort happens JW`s will go into denial as if nothing at all was expected , and blame the weak publishers for going ahead of the organization
