I received some email notes from an undercover apostate from a DC a few days ago. Our favorite GB member Anthony Morris was the featured speaker.
According to the notes, Morris talked a little apostasy in his concluding talk, where he was recapping the weekend. The story goes a little like this:
Tony was brought to a home by a piosneer, along with his wife. EVIDENTLY, the piosneer was having difficulty answering this man's questions, so who better to drag along than one of Christ's brothers. So Tony, his wife, and the piosneer go into the home, and Tony seems to remember this guy from somewhere. But he just can't remember where.
Anyway, the APOSTATE has all kinds of research material out and ready to go, stuff like concordances, bibles, commentaries, etc. The APOSTATE starts questioning Tony about Gods name first off, and then jumps into some original Greek that Tony doesn't want to discuss (gee, I wonder why...)
Finally, Tony remembers that this guy confronted him on the streets about five years ago, and he was an APOSTATE. (gasp!)
So Tony tells the audience "I was outta there, this guy knew too much"
I've asked my source to confirm that last sentence word for word, and he promises that is exactly how it was stated. But no recording of course, and because he is deep, deep inside right now he doesn't even want to tell me location details.
Anyone hear something like this at a DC, I know its a longshot.
Quite an admission from Tony that we "know too much".
