Some of the gals and I would like to start a perpetual "what's for dinner" thread. It's tough to come up with something different when you cook every night. So if y'all will just help us out by simply posting what you are planning, or what you had last night, or musing on what sounds good, we'd much appreciate it.

Because it's hot now, I'll post my favourite ice cream recipe:

    1 can Eagle Brand

    1 can evaporated milk

    1 small tub Cool Whip

2 slices white bread, diced, NOT the crusts. ( Yes, WHITE bread....just do it.)

1/8 - 1/4 tsp cardamom (according to taste.)

    Whirr all in a blender.

    Freeze in plastic container.

    Enjoy!!

(This can be made low-fat by buying the low-fat Eagle Brand, evap milk and Cook Whip....same taste.)

I've never tried to make ice cream before. Cool.

A few days ago I made Sour Cream/Dill Salmon.

    1/2 cup sour cream

    2 tbsp melted butter

    1-2 tbsp dillweed

Mix together, pour over salmon, bake uncovered at 450 for 15 minutes.

I also made homemade greek salad and dressing, and rosemary potatoes! It was a good night of eating!

Yay!! You're redeemed Tammy! That sounds really good.

The ice cream sounds good too, I love cardamom.

Heck even Watson's grilled cheese sounds good. Dubliner, is sharp?

    Mmmmm, tec.

I've made variations of that. Sometimes, I add chopped fresh mushrooms, green onions and leave out the dill, or add lemon pepper to the dill.

    It's always good, eh?

Leftover meatloaf. I always make a triple amount and freeze. Then, on tough nights, Mr Bee is still pleased with one of his favorite meals - add mashed tatoes, red-skin-on, salad and veg - pretty easy.

    He had thirds last night.
