ITHINKISEE Update: A true milestone for my wife!

  My wife checked out this book from the library:

  
  Toxic Faith-Experiencing Healing From Painful Spiritual Abuse
  Stephen Arterburn & Jack Felton

  She started reading the first few pages and said it made her feel alot better about why people join cult-groups. She started listing off people in the hall and saying she understands why they are there and how abusive religions like JWs take advantage of their emptiness and desperation.

  She asked me to make sure and not leave the book out in case JWs stop by!

  WOW!!!! that is amazing. You inspire me ITIS!!! everytime i come on here and see an update from you, it just amazes me how much progress you have made with your wife in such a small amount of time.
  
  You are on the right path.
  She will pobably start to go through her greiving period soon, just be prepared for it. It was hard for me when i started looking at the JW's as a cult, but it all came together after that.

  That was an excellent choice for her to pick up. You might want to ask her if they had any others and maybe you both could go back to the library or even check a book store.

  Heh. I would like to, I really would.

  This seems strange to say, but it is like I am almost having to "hold her back" a little from decompressing too fast. She is sneaking in research time anytime she can. There is not a day that goes by that she doesn't have some new nugget of information for me ... and none of it is pro-JW.

  I think in her mind she has already made the break. Today she even told me of a JW family here we are very close with that have been really doing alot of personal soul searching and have been making "cult" comments. In fact, the wife even said, "I don't think many people do much fact checking on the WT Society." She said this after my wife told her we have been doing alot of research on 607vs586.

  Whoa ... this is huge.
