It's been a great two weeks, hasn't it? Many of us suspected the site would have to come down but we all knew that WT was in a Catch-22 situation.
They didn't want to satiate its enemies by raising the white flag, so to speak -- shutting down the site. On the other hand, pressure from within -- the 6 million plus members -- asking why they had such a ridiculous site up, with dishonest credentials at that, had to be a factor. Kudos to you members who patiently watched your leaders flounder and squirm during the past several weeks since Gail Bethea-Jackson sent her revealing disclosure letter to a member of this group.
Well -- thanks to sharp eyes Dust -- I understand the site is down. Probably sometime today though I don't know exactly when. To prove it, go to your bookmark, (or this link ), then for good measure, do a browser refresh just in case the page in in its cache.
Finally, we have a winner, as today is December 26. We only had four predictions that I could scour from this thread. One even predicted it would never shut down. Here are the four:
