I have always wonder even as a young child growing up is How will we know that the world has entered into the "great tribulation"? How will we know when it is Armaggeddon? Will Jehovah or Jesus announce from the heavens that it is the time? I don't mean to sound like I am making fun of this serious topic but I have always wondered. How long is the great tribulation going to last? I have heard some say 7 years some say 3 1/2 years. I have heard that Armaggeddon will take place in the dark so the faithful won't have to see love ones slaughtered. Does anyone know of any scriptures that specifically answer these questions I have?

Daniel discribes it as a time of distress that the world has not known since it's founding . It is apparently a very catastrophic point in human history , I think possibly a nuclear war or even such natural calamities such as earth quakes , flooding , food shortages . IT is also said that no flesh would be preserved alive unless jesus intervenes (Daniel mentions micheal who I believe is jesus).

How lovely,.... Jehovah is so kindhearted that he doesn't let all those who are selling Watchtower and Awake's see the blood of 99.9% of mankind that he is going to slaughter.
Booker T...I wouldn't hold my breath on Jehovah waiting till nightime before he kills everyone except for Jehovah's Witnesses. When he killed all the milions in the Old Testement, he didn't give a poop who saw him when he slaughtered people. He slaughtered babies in front of their parents and parents in front of their babies and he never gave it a second thought. Maybe he has more of a heart for little dubbies than for those awful worldly godhaters though, I don't really know.
