Troubled by reports of the very problems that were supposed to be only the mark of false religions peadophilia (and hiding it) and hypocrisy (supporting the UN) many honest hearted JWs, it seems, have slowed down their meeting attendance and field ministry.

What has the society done to calm these very real worries concerning ACTUAL, not imagined, problems.

    Simple. They scream ALL LIES!!!

The Watchtower for March 1 2003. Study article Be Courageous and Strong!

    Paragraph 6:

We also need courage when opposers maneuver the media into spreading bad reports about God's servants or when they try to restrict true worship by 'scheming trouble by decree' (Psalm 94:20) For example, how should we feel when newspapers, radio, or television reports about Jehovahs Witnesses are distortions or outright falsehoods? Should we be shocked? No. We expect such things. (Psalm 109:2) And we are not surprised when some believe the published lies and distortions, since 'anyone inexperienced puts faith in every word' (Proverbs 14:15) Still, loyal Christians refuse to believe just any statement made about their brothers, and they certainly do not allow bad publicity to cause them to miss Christian meetings, to slow down in the field ministry, or to waver in their faith. On the contrary, they 'recommend [themselves] as Gods ministers'...

..like wise should we believe the Watchtower when it spreads bad reports about others?

I think most dubs will get a little twinge of doubt when they read this article. True, they may suppress it for a while, but it will surface eventually.

You know, it seems like no matter what REALLY happens, the WTBTS seem to cover every angle.

TV/Radio/Newsprint - when presented back to them, they seem to have 'an answer for everything'. Sheesh!

Sad...really sad to think that this works at Kingdom Halls around the world.

So they are saying XJW's with years of "being in the Troof", XMServants, XElders, XBetthelites, XCO's and DO's are inexperienced!

I think they want active JW:s to belive that if they put faith in the news stories, then they are inexperienced. And a JW do not want to be labeled inexperienced. They want to hear that they are mature, which they also will hear, if they go along and say that it is all lies.

With this type of written material, wouldn't you think some publishers ask the question, "What bad reports are being spread around?" I mean, what other news is there about JW's except pedophilia? Wouldn't this be a topic of conversation for enquiring minds?

Exactly. Gossip is the life-blood of the congregations. Anyone who doesn't already know will want to know, and those who already know will want to tell everybody else.

Interesting statements from the WT. Those who are already starting to see through the WT spin doctors will get really sickened by this. The others will have their delusions reinforced at the public wt. study when they see respected elders pull the puppateer strings of the R&F for the society once again. They wouldn't stand on the platform so cock sure of themselves if they weren't in the know right?

The congregation will offer canned answers and the elder will prostitute himself in yet another accolade of the society, commending everyone for not being fooled like the inexperienced ones.

They are truly ending up with only the most comatose of the brain-dead.

Doesn't the 'Society' pretty much count on that mind-set from it's readers?!
