Earthly Resurrection Belief is INSANE

I know this topic gets mentioned a lot, but it still upsets me whenever I think about it. Its so INSANE, and I get so angry that I never questioned it or used my own brain to see the absurdity in it when I was still "in".

What got me started today is the sheer numbers involved. The Dubs believe only they will survive the big A. But not all of them - because those leading double lives etc will be killed as well as the rest of the 6 BILLION people on Earth. So lets say 1 million Dubs are killed and 5 million make it.

These 5 million people will be the only people to have sexual realtionships thru all eternity.!!! The resurrected ones, possibly numbering about 20 BILLION, will all be androgynous asexual drones.

So we have 5 million people living in normal family relationships. And 20 BILLION not!

    HOW CAN THAT WORK?

Will the asexual resurrectees be segregated? Would it not be immodest for asexual males and females to live together? What about married couples who died together before Armageddon? They get resurrected as drones, cannot live together because its immodest. So what do they do? Will there be huge camps of asexual males and likewise huge camps of billions of asexual females?

Could an errant Armageddon survivor rape an asexual resurrectee?

All the while the Armageddon survivors are living like the Elite, reproducing, enjoying normal life.

Well thats just insane. If any Dubs ever visit me again I am going to ask them to explain this..because this sounds like a horror world beyond all description.

    JW' are INSANE!!!

My understanding is that, as usual, WT got it ass backwards, resurrection as they put it is not physical but spiritual, and the soul is immortal after all, " for they will be as the angels"......uh, I could be wrong but angels are spirits....duh.......rocky220

    I agree.

If I have to live forever, why on earth would I want to live here?

I would imagine it being more of a spiritual existance, on a much deeper level than what we are used to, but thats just me..... Hoping I guess... Dreaming...

ANY resurrection belief is insane. If God had any sense at all, He would have made us all immortal to begin with and then he wouldn't have to bother with resurrection, assembling new bodies, saving all thoughts at death on some sort of a computer chip or something before one dies (Gary Busselman) and making sure those new bodies were pretty close to the old bodies, so that dead skinny guys wouldn't become live fat guys, and dead guys wouldn't become live girls, re-implanting that computer chip of memories in the new body and then hoping he got everything right. He wouldn't have to go through those billions of human-memory computer chips and re-program them to make gay people straight, and serial killers nice guys, and mentally-challenged people no longer mentally challenged. No! The re-programming alone is a total nightmare.

If he made our consciousness immortal and our bodies disposable, that would make a LOT more sense than the WT resurrection-of-the-body-re-implanting-of-computer-chips-into-the-new-brains bullshit. Our bodies are only repositories for who we are. God has the power to send perennial jerks to their rooms for a long time-out too, so bad guys would get dealt with, even if they are immortal. If Satan spent 200 million years locked into his room listening only to old Rutherford speeches on those scratchy phonograph records, he'd straighten out his act. I'd bet on it.

    WatchtowerGod(tm) is REALLY stupid, IMHO.

This subject always baffled me as a witness as well. What would happen if someone fell and cut their head off on something (ewwwww I know) Would they grow a new head? Or would Jehovah keep them in a protective bubble at all times to prevent decapitation? Or would our perfect brains never allow us to stumble? Complete nonsense!

I guess we will only find out the truth when our time comes.

    Or not.
