On a personal level...I don't trust anybody..not anymore.

I promote the behavior of the Beroeans....they didn't trust even Paul..until they checked the scriptures to see if he was correct.

Its me and Jehovah..I pray for Holy Spirit and use the scriptures...that's it!!!

It is not a impossibility for an active JW to have the hard earned discernment to be able to do that

Atomant cannot trust anybody else either..not me..you..this site..or any witness..or any other faith...

He has to prove to himself what is truth and what is not....as we all do.

Some care to and some do not...and each persons decision must be respected.

Go onto E watchman site and Perimeno.......there is a lot of reading to do...and it will take some time I'm afraid to sort it all out..

it will be like on a roller coaster.....but keep persevering ..don't give up.....and above all else..ask Jehovah to open your eyes so you can understand it as he wishes it to be understood...

The bottom line..is what the society teaches about the basic doctrines....death, ressurecction.paradise earth.the kingdom. Armageddon .....Etc is totally correct.....

the rest you will work out for yourself..as nobody can do it other than you..

If I'm wrong .....you won't have lost anything but time.

If I'm right.........

First of may I ask if you would like to live under Jesus and his guidelines?

the difference between him and the GB is Jesus said his yoke is light!!!!

The GB s rules and regulations make the yoke very very heavy indeed.

Quiet like the Pharisees of the Sanhedrin....haircuts, clothing...etc...we have been indoctrinated with a sense of unrealistic fear of a ever heightening of what makes us acceptable to Jehovah.....unattainable goals that crushes one and makes one feel unworthy.

These are not The way Of Jesus...we have become just like the Pharisees of old.

He held them accountable for being bad shepards..for not caring for his sheep..and he will do this again.

At this time he is still allowing it..the weeds are in with the wheat..and they are hurting us..

thats why he said those that ENDURE to the end will be saved.

we are being threshed as wheat just as the apostles were..it's a testing time.

i ask you....when in history did Gods People not become corrupted...NEVER...they always did....and he ALWAYS disciplined them.....the Isralites were disciplined as were the Jewish System

He will rescue his sheep...as he always does..but for now...we need to wait on him...just like that small band of Christians did when Jesus was on earth.

i support lanalomger and her sentiments.

Jesus is tender in his affections..and takes a interest in each and every individual that serves him....his load is light....we have yet to experience that....but we will!!!!!

A little common sense here will go along way.

First of we really are only given a glimpse of what that new World will be like..that's all.

yet we can work out some things with common sense.

their obviously will be death in that New World/system.

Psalms 65:20

No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days.

Nor and old man who fails to live out his days..(.BUT,,,)

For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy

And a sinner will be cursed even tho he is a hundred years old..

okay so so we get a picture of ...some people dying at about a hundred because they keep sinning and won't abide by Jehovahs laws...yet Jehovah gives them ample time to correct their problem...common!! A hundred years!! Fair enough time I think..

obviously that person would have shown bad traits for some time..all around him would be able to see it..many especially family would be trying to help him/her...

Jehovah forgives in a large way and is very patient ...if he has to get rid of somebody it's because that person is hurting others..he would be pushed to that point of action to protect others .

if it was my Mum Dad, brother , friend....would I grieve.....yes of course..but I also wouldn't want that person around my family hurting them.

some how Jehovah will bring swift comfort to us....

Psalms 65:22

Even before they call out I will answer.

While they are yet speaking I will hear.

personally...I want the animals to live forever..to form bonds with them.....remembering they will live a lot longer than now.....and then lose them.....I don't even like to think about it.

this is where we need to have faith In Jehovah and how he is going to manage things.

we will have a lot of surprises there.....

also we won't be living under the GBs rules....We will be Living under Jesus's rules ...there's a whopping big difference...

The Demons were messing with me last night!

so said my pops one morning.

we were visiting my sister in eastern tennessee and the night before after everyone else went to bed pops was watching tv when all of a sudden and completely on it's own the tv changed to the tonight show, holy smokes!!

must be demons cause pops didn't change it!

I was ashamed

i was once a person who believed in god destroying 7 billion people so a few people could live in paradise.. when the penny finally dropped and i realised what as a jehovah's witnesses i was really praying for , it made me feel sick.

what is attractive about a person that prays for this world to end .

i was ashamed to have been a witness deeply ashamed .

What you were praying for was a world where a little starving African child is not about to be eaten by a waiting vulture.

For men and women not to have their brains and innards blown out at war.

Not to be blown into little pieces of unreconizable bloody pulps of flesh..that the dogs eat.

For tiny little children not to be physically and mentally abused and beaten.

For little children not to be ripped when being sexually brutalized...and tortured to death

you were praying for the child trafficking from Africa in small children being stolen for human sacrifices in Englamd and other lands ....where they keep the child alive and screaming for as long as possible as it makes the demons happy and they receive more power. Wake up to yourself! The bulk of the world is in agony ....no witness that I have ever known wants the death of anybody.....your talking stupidity

anyway you may not have to wait for too much longer the way men are behaving .....

iF you don't believe in a God..it looks like we are pretty close to a catastrophic world wide event ......if you do believe in God....then he will step in otherwise there will be no flesh left on the earth

stop worrying about what other witness do or don't do...did the apostles give up because they had a Judas amongst them...

Hi Wild thing.

I think you misunderstood me....I do not want any harm to come to any witness...but as IPeter says....the judgment starts with his house first ...and if a righteous man is saved with great difficulty..what hope for,the ungodly man....

Boy I don't know if I'll even make it...but I'm going to try...the discipline comes fromJehovah......and even the righteous man will suffer it as well.....

In Amos it clearly warns us not to experience glee over the calamity of our brothers...for as you say..how different will we be then

also Jehovah will repay you for that self righteous glee....and not in a good way either..

Hi Alive and Pete.

please I'm not being dogmatic...I've been hurt too...and was inactive for a time.

the cruelty from the society has cost my highly...which I won't go into here.....

but this state of affairs was all foretold in the books of the prophets......that's not christendom their talking about ..as we are told..that's us!

the shameful shepards ones that lie and bribe and beat their sheep causing them to flee....that's us.

all I can ask is some of you read those books again with that in mind....

also,the wheat and the weeds illustration.....the weeds are not Christendom...they are us..his people..once I got to understand that..a lot fell into place....

were the Israelites a cult... that stiff necked crowd he wanted to annihilate even before they got into the land of Canaan .....hey that's us today.

he disciplined back them back then in the wilderness when Aaron allowed the worship of the false Calf....and when they wouldn't trust him to go fight in that land he disciplined again....but also even Joshua and Kaleb copped the discipline too...

not fair hey..in fact if it was me I would be furious....

look im not here to upset anyone...we all carry so many deep deep scars.....some are horrendous....

the isralites were not a cult..nor were the Jewish system....just gods people gone bad.....just like Jehovah's Witness today.....the org is not holy but just a tool he uses to get his preaching work done .

its gone bad too..but he manipulates it to serve his purpose...he uses the wheat to do that...I guess the weeds get shut up then...but he allows the weeds their time to....a threshing of sorts.

brothers and sisters...we are being threshed like the apostles were....

I'm not here to fight with anyone....but if someone thinks like me...if I can hep I will.

no I'm not a scholar ...just a very plain sister who can see the pain and agony in gods house...and have learnt the patterns of how gods people..and how they always become corrupted...and he always disciplines them....he will do it again..just follow the patterns layed out in the scriptures...

I'm also tired and worn out...but they are not going to get me...I'm awake to their moves...and I'm going to cop the discipline to..which I think has already started.

certainly not looking forward to any of it.

You all and I have every right to be angry and upset with the society,I'm not missing the point.

especially over the blood fractions issue, which I personally don't think are wrong.

Yet when something good and balanced happens be glad for the brothers and sisters still trying to endure .

what was shocking was the previous behaviourn not this behaviour and enjoyment.

we need to be balanced otherwise legitimate serious complaints , as that poor brothers unnecessary death due to lack of blood fractions.

im just calling for balance

jehovah has full intention of disciplining his people because of the way they have treated us.

Why?....the KH s are not holy places.

most on here hated the strictness,.....so why complain about this .

seems to me they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.

i would have loved this in my time.
