by Mythbuster ininteresting comment about jws.. http://www.edmontonjournal.com/life/economy+forces+town+examine+breaks+churches/2913971/story.html.
providing spiritual guidance may not be enough to warrant exemption.
should churches and religious organizations continue to receive automatic tax exemptions?.

Church blesses fathers with beer
by Mythbuster inhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/religion/5587035/church-blesses-fathers-with-beer.html.
bottles of beer will be given to fathers who attend church, in an alternative "blessing" for father's day.. by jonathan wynne-jones, religious affairs correspondent.
published: 9:00pm bst 20 jun 2009. a senior bishop has backed the move, which is part of a church of england initiative to put a christian emphasis on the annual celebration of fatherhood.. concerns over the lack of men attending services year-round has led clergy to offer a range of incentives today, including free beer, bacon rolls and chocolate bars.. it is the first time that the church has attempted to treat fathers' day in the same way as mothering sunday, which has traditionally formed part of its calendar.. the plan to distribute ale has upset groups working to tackle alchohol abuse, but the rt rev john inge, the bishop of worcester, said that it could help churches to attract more men.. he argued that the free beer was intended to be symbolic of "the generosity of god".. men at st stephen's church in barbourne, worcester, will be handed bottles of beer by children during the service.

Is the Bible Open to Just Any Interpretation?
by Mythbuster in*** w88 12/15 p. 5 is the bible open to just any interpretation?
what would a housewife think of a recipe book that was open to just any interpretation?
or of what benefit would it be to spend money for a dictionary that allowed its reader to interpret the meaning of words just any way he chose?is that the kind of guidebook we would expect god to give his creatures?

German pensioner denies attempt to machine-gun Jehovahs Witnesses
by Mythbuster inthursday, 04 february 2010 20:53. .
bielefeld, germany - a german pensioner charged with the attempted murder of 81 jehovahs witnesses by storming into their community hall and trying to open fire with a machine gun has denied all the charges, a court heard on tuesday.
the 83-year-old, who cannot be named, allegedly stormed into the meeting in the town of bielefeld and attempted to fire a machine gun at the group in july 2009 - but the weapon malfunctioned and the man was wrestled to the ground.. a psychiatrist for the defendant told the court that the accused had merely wanted to point out that islamists could be a danger to jehovahs witnesses.. the prosecution said he had tried to "maliciously shoot" as many as possible of the congregation.. the accused man has not yet addressed the court in person.. the psychiatrist said the pensioner told him that his dog had found the gun in the forest.
