  when i first heard about the change to a members only wt, i was beyond furious.

  i had gone back and forth as to whether i used to belong to a cult.

  the gb continues to isolate in their own unique way all of their flock.

  as i write this, i am sitting and watching pbs's tribute to johnny cash.

  specificaly, the johnny cash show from the late 60's.

  my dad as i recall told me about this show and how revolutionary and groundbreaking it was at the time.

  The Truth From the Bible About the 144,000

  i hope this wont take me too long, as being concise isnt my biggest talent.

  a recent thread on the 144,000 made me put a couple of things together about the governing body.

  these are the ones that claim to have authority from jehovah, to tell the over 6,00,000 that although we arent masters over anyones faith, these 150 items are absolutely prohibited for you to do.

  How the WT Study is Used by the Governing Body

  now that i have been out of the borg for a while, it has occurred to me that one of the biggest weapons they use to keep everyone indoctrinated is the watchtower study.. elders are told that the wt study is the primary way that the faithful and discreet slave feeds the flock of god today.

  it is easily the most formulatic.. consider, the content is 100% controlled.

  (i would also add, made up fiction.

  Why Doesn't the Governing Body Follow the Examples of the "Bible Writers"?

  the witnesses often claim that they are the true religion.

  that there existence has fulfilled bible prophesy and bible chronology.

  because the true religion should (in their own words) imitate exactly the candor of the bible writers who..... quote: *** ba p. 16 can this book be trusted?

  that means, whatever your motivation, for a time you bought into the theology of jw to one degree or another.

  i will use my other thread today to talk about gilead.. one must apply for several years to show they are serious, unless you know a gb member or another heavy in the service dept.

  a couple first gets a long app in the mail usually after several years of applying at the dc.
