    Uncanny,

Then it comes. You have to be watching with full concentration, for it only takes about half a second. And as if almost subliminal, right at the end of this religious reaction vignette, there she is, the same old woman, standing on a street corner and holding up two brighly covered magazines - obviously The Watchtower and Awake!

Good eyes! I'll have to see this film.

In the first minute of Do The Right Thing, Spike Lee's character is offered a Watchtower & Awake by some dubs in the street. "Hell no!" he says.

A Perfect World would have been much better if it had gotten the details of Witness theology right ... but the final scene, where the little dub boy uses a potential hostage situation to barter with his mother for holidays & theme parks, is priceless.

There's the Seinfeld episode where Elaine gets evicted for, among other things, letting a bunch of Jehovah's Witnesses into the apartment building.

In the Brady Bunch movie there is also a part where they mention the Jehovah's Witnesses. But it true there is no other group that is targeted so much as the witnesses. Funny!!
