Has anyone ever truly known a talk from any JW that was really, honestly, "special" ?

Apart from in the sense of educationally lacking i.e Special Needs.

Don't you know that every talk given by the GB is special. They each have a direct link to god.

Zone meetings happen every year so they're not special. The rank and file slaps the special label on anything they can to get themselves excited. If any of the zone meeting's talks, like at least one talk at the US zone meeting, are given by GB members, some interesting things might be said. But the bigger stuff always happens at the annual meeting in October and the summer convention. The zone meeting is usually just full of experiences, not nu light.

In the Netherlands we had a special talk from a Helper (Kenneth Flodin) last sunday. It was streamed to all congregations. No special info. Some jokes. A bad translator. (Said 'Jehovah' instead of 'satan' in the final prayer to do a last attack 😳)

If the Australia branch zone overseer's visit is anything to go by, if you don't get a GB member doing the talk, it will probably be bad news. (ie more cut backs)

So GB "Helpers" Flodin and Kikot AKA Flo-down and Kickout are in London doing their special zone visit stream to the UK on April 30th and Germany (thanks Crazy_Flickering_Light) gets their stream on May 14th?
