So many serious topics lately ... so for anyone who wants a break, it's trivia time and the subject is Pop Music.

Which act is the only one to have a Top 100 hit both before, during and after the Beatles had theirs?

No Googling. If you guess, you also need to add a trivia question for others to answer.

    Beach Boys?

What group holds the record for performing on three different continents on the same day?

    Elvis - a wild guess.

I can only think of Phil Collins doing Live Aid but that was just the UK (Europe) and US.

No to the Beach Boys and Elvis.

As an extra clue, one of their songs was prevented from reaching #1 by 3 Beatles songs being in the top spots. It could have been worse - the week after they had the top 5 spots!

It was not Phil Collins (but good guess!).

To the first question I'd say The Stones.

To the second question U2. I didn't Google so they might be really lame answers!

    The Rolling Stones?

What group's first album was called Boy.

(um, edit! home by the sea you posted the same time! We think alike!)

U2 is not correct either, but it's the kind of thing they would do.

I will tighten it down. They were BIG in the 80s, a Metal Hair Band, and they are not so big today.

    FayeDunaway,

    U2's 1st album was Boy
