Nobody forces anyone to read a satirical thread. Rather than complaining about the lack of substance on the forum, a person would do well to contribute an actual thread of substance. Nobody is preventing the forum from taking a serious tone at times.
With all the theatrics and flame wars that just started calming down, some people see a need for comic relief. Big deal. It isn't everyone's cuppa tea, but that's life.
