I got a call today from Bruce Baker (Venice's daddy) telling me he was going to be on the news tonight. He wanted me to tape the interview. My VCR hasn't been able to tape anything since the last time I kicked it so it's unplugged with a new DVD player in it's place. I watched the interview and recorded it in my head.

The KATU channel 2 news guy started out by saying that in the past year there has been three high profile murders that had taken place in Oregon that all had the same related faith. (The third one was news to me I only knew about the Longo and Bryant cases. From what he said a woman, another exJW murdered some people who lived in a house she was care taker of. She felt that it was demonized so she knocked the people off who lived there. I don't know how this one got by me, must be because I don't watch the news much anymore.)
Bruce was then interviewed and he talked about how the JW's believe if you die before Armageddon you are automatically guaranteed a resurrection. (All bet the JW's are jumping all over themselves to see who will be in charge of debriefing Hitler once he comes back. Another thousand years with that guy should prove to be amusing). Then it shot back to the Christian Longo trial that has just started to hit the news. They are trying for a change of venue (like no one else in the state ever heard about it, good luck). The FBI guy who escorted Longo from Mexico to Oregon testified that he told him on the plane that he sent his family to a better place. This meaning he gave them the "get through Armageddon free card" so they are just waiting around dead and all for the resurrection process to begin.
The news guy then said that all three were JW's. He then said the local representative of the JW church were not available for an interview but they stated that all three suspected murders were disfellowshipped JWs.
Now here is the thing that pisses me off. The three suspected murders did what they did with the teachings of the JW's as part of their motive. Whether they were still JW's "in good standing" as they say or recently disfellowshipped JW doesn't matter a damn bit. It's the screwed up bullshit teachings of the JW's that influenced their thinking and justified what they did in their minds. I don't know enough about the third murder but I do know in the Longo case he has talked about the sunning from his family and church as a major cause of depression. He has also stated that he believed he sent them to a better place. I also know from the many conversations with Sharon Rowe the sister of Janet Bryant, that Robert Bryant experience the same deep depression because of the shunning and basic psychological execution he received from his family and one time friends. He also believed he was sending them to a better place while saving them from a life of shunning.
So, for any of you dip shit JW"s who watched that news cast and shook your head and said to your little kids 'see what happened to people when they turn their back on Jehovah" I'm here to tell you to wake the hell up. It's not the turning your back on your stupid ass mythical god, it the believing in the crap you teach in the first place.
